Christmas Penquin Progam, Christmas, Sledding

We spent Thanksgiving and Christmas here in Montana because of my new job. I had to start over with my paid time off, so we stuck around. Also with Chris' parents being up here, it was nice to spend the day with them. Our Thanksgiving was perfect weather. In fact, Papa was in shorts and no shirt. It was like 60 degrees. I didn't have to work, so we went over to Papa and Gaga's about 2:00 PM. The food was great and we all went home stuffed.

Sophie was the lead in the K-2 Christmas play.  She was the Emperor Penguin.  She had 5 talking parts and the was the one who helped Santa remember what he was supposed to do.  The gym was filled to beyond capacity.  All the other kids were penguins.  Gaga was able to come watch too!

Gunner seemed to have a good time being a penguin.

Christmas was nice and low key.  The kids slept in until 6:30.  I had to work from 9-2, so we had plenty of time.  I made some really yummy cinnamon rolls and the kids had a blast playing with their new toys.  The got bows and arrows, beanie boos from Santa, Money from Grandma and Grandpa, sophie got books and clothes and gunner got Lincoln logs.  Sophie got Gunner a hot wheels track and Gunner got Sophie an American Girl doll.
