And a bag of chips

I dislike the saying, " He's all that and a bag of chips."  But when it comes to my husband, the shoe fits.

Now that I works AM's again, I have WAY more time during the day.  More time to spend with the kids, more time to clean and organized, more time to waste time.  So, in an effort to not waste away my days napping and watching House Hunters International and dreaming about my next trip abroad, I am going to start writing down answers from a Journal Jar.  They are a bunch of prompts to help you know what to write about in a journal.  So, one of them from the front page says, 'Write a description of your Husband/Wife.'

Back to my amazing husband.  He joked the other day that he is like a fine wine...he keeps getting better with time.  I can agree with that.  Chris is beyond patient when it comes to his family.  Not so much driving in the car, but he is one patient man with the kids and with myself.  I can't recall a time when he has ever raised his voice at me.  I can't recall a time when he hasn't been upfront and truthful.  He is rarely grumpy or moody.  He is smart and can figure anything out by watching it on Youtube.  He doesn't question anything I buy (Travel abroad NOT included), because he trusts me. He puts up with me calling him many times a day.  I love him more each day.  Considering we were married 5 months after our first date, we shouldn't be as happy as I think we are.  Not a day goes by that I don't miss him when he is at work.  He will pick up something for me on the way home from work without complaint.  He will turn on my bed for me sometimes, and he does dishes and right now gets the kids ready in the morning and puts them to bed at night, because of my schedule.   There are a million other things that I could talk about, but I have been blessed with a wonderful husband.  He is amazing.  I'm lucky to have him.

  1. I have been so out of the loop in the blog world and have missed so many of your posts! Sophie is so beautiful! Gunner looks like such a fun guy. Chris and Brian sound a lot alike - takes a lot to ruffle their feathers, love their kids, trust us. Thank you, Richard and Thearsa :) Glad you have time to spend doing what you want/like these days! Glad Sophie is (hopefully still) enjoying her new school. Hoping we're all able to get together this summer, sad that we missed the adventure last year. Our last ditch effort to stay in didn't pan out, but I guess that means we'll have our summer to ourselves this year...maybe. Love all of the pictures and LOVE your new kitchen table! It's gorgeous.
