My Job
I was promoted to trainer back in September when security at the airport became CSSI-Firstline. I LOVE it. Super duper love it. I feel like I go to work and laugh way too much. My two bosses are amazing women and Ryan, my co-trainer is great too! We have been super busy training new hires and catching up on training records. The best part is that I don't have horrible early hours anymore and I don't have to be in uniform as much. Although having a uniform is nice because being is sassy business casual does get old sometime. I work 8- 4:30 M-F. We have lots of new hires and they joke with me that they wish they could have casual friday or not be in uniform. I tell them that it took me three years to get here and they have only been an officer for 6 or so months. In uniform we wear shoulder boards with stripes to designate rank. Officers get no stripes, leads get one stripe and Sups get three stripes. Ryan and I get three stripes and a star! :) I have to travel to Kalispell and Butte every so often but that will be less and less. I knew I would have to travel a lot in the first year.
I didn't think that I ever wanted to really work after having kids, but I really enjoy it. I like making money, having lots of friends and I like keeping busy. I do miss that I don't have lunch at my kids school as much and I can't help in their classrooms. Although the kids are very happy at school and I put them on the bus. My house is messier than I would like and dinner is never preplanned or gourmet. But I feel fulfilled and like I said before, Chris does a lot to make it possible.
Anyway, that is it. Life is good. My kids are brilliant, strong and funny. We still love Montana. :)
