Christmas morning

Here are our Christmas morning shenanigans...
Gunner got this train table with trains and a cool hugh heffner robe.  I made Sophie a robe a couple years ago, but decided to just by him one.  He really likes being a boy and making the girls scream by flashing them when he gets out of the shower.   He sings a song that goes, bum bum lookin' at you as he shakes him bum.
Sophie got some polly pokets, hello kitty blanket and alarm clock and some coloring books.
Both santa presents have been a hit.  We got them ski lessons, but they won't go until February.
We were painting the roof and realized that the greens were not the same as on the wall.  Sooo, we have some painting to do.
Gunner continues to be a gentleman and says things like, it's a pleasure mom and you are so nice to me.

It's the most wonderful time of the year...still

It's Christmas eve and a package arrived today from Alan, Lori and Cara. Uncle, Aunt and cousin respectively. The kids tore that box open and were thrilled. Thanks you guys. We love you.
We have been blessed with a white Christmas and took advantage as the sun and light disappeared.

I hope Santa doesn't arrive too late.  We are tired and full of candies, cookies, cakes, chocolates, caramels, etc.  Merry  Christmas!  The video to follow is of Gunner sledding.  We adore this dude!

It's the most wonderful time of the year!

We had our church Christmas party last night. This was the first time we every stayed for Santa. I just happen to work with Santa. He is one of my favorite co-workers and he did a great job!

Tonight we decorated MORE cookies.  These kids have not wanted for sugar this month. :)

We love our cousins.  They are having too much fun.

The tooth fairy's first visit and Christmas concert

On Saturday, Sophie's first tooth came out. She came running downstairs with glee to announce it had come out and she was the one that pulled it out. It has been loose about a month and when we went to the dentist back in November he said it should come out by Christmas.  She is 6 and 2 months today.

It is on the bottom and the one right next to it is loose too!

Last night was the Christmas concert at her school.  It was short and sweet.  Gunner was impatient but that is because we didn't bring anything for him to play with.

Here she comes in all her hair and glory.  Her hair continues to be an issue with me.  I would love to chop it.  It is a fight every time I want to brush it.  But she just loves it long.  I just wish she weren't so tender headed.  If I had a dollar for every time I heard, "ouch, it hurts" ....

Each class had little mouse hats.
Of course she is on the top row and was first in line in her class because she is the tallest!

She continues to love school and is a joy at home, most of the time. :)

Snow Day/ Gunner's Birthday

Well, so far I have been able to post pictures so I am happy about that. Back last month we got almost a foot of snow. Jess Stovall, a neighbor and friend from church, got the snowmobile and took the kids out for a ride. Gunner turned 4 in November. I got a couple of videos and only a few pictures, but we love our Gunner and he is such a blessing to us.

Sophie brings home  the cutest stuff from school.  Here is a picture she drew of me and her and at the bottom it says I like watching movies.  I can't throw any of her stuff away.  I have a lots of drawings I am going to scan and add in the next week.
